Jill Flint

After 22 years in film and television, I decided it was time for a change. It wasn't an easy or light choice, but a full-bodied one. I was done. What now? Following my curiosity, I began studying psychology at Empire State University. After my first semester I knew I had found a new path. During this time I began working with the non-profit, Reconsider - first as a volunteer, later as a program coordinator. There I witnessed deep listening as medicine and a catalyst for change. That experience shifted my perspective on the world we are co-creating and the potency of connection and community. I also discovered the simple, yet exquisite, power of the breath. Since then, I have devoted myself to deepening my own practice and helping others cultivate their own connection to the inhale and exhale. I have learned that through the breath we can build a stronger connection to ourselves and others.

In addition to breathwork, I am certified in Embodied Imagination for psychedelic integration and dreamwork. I have also studied at the Polyvagal Institute to deepen my knowledge on trauma informed care and with Embodywise for Hakomi Informed Somatic Coaching. My immersion in this work has led me to discover that we have an entire universe of wisdom and insight living within us. I have a deep interest in discovering what lies waiting for us, unburdened by our habitual minds.

Raised in a small town in upstate New York and having lived two decades in Brooklyn, I am now nestled a quiet spot in the mountains with my husband and cat. I am deeply grateful for the community I’ve found here and the constant beauty that surrounds me. In my free time, I love being in nature, sharing food, endless conversation, and exploring everything from modern cities to ancient ruins. I love a good joke, although I can rarely tell them because I forget them. I try.
